Actor Chrisann Pereira makes his first video call to family after being released from a Sharjah jail on drug-related charges

Chrisann Pereira, a Bollywood actor who was detained in Dubai after being accused of being implicated in a drug trafficking case, has now been released from custody. On Wednesday night, the actor's brother posted a video of Chrisann contacting her family after leaving Sharjah's prison on his social media accounts.

Kevin Pereira, Chrisann's brother, sent a video on his Instagram account with the message, “Chisann is SET FREE!!! She'll arrive in India in the next 48 hours. The footage showed Chrisann's mother dancing as she heard that her daughter was returning to India, while Chrisann sobbed throughout the chat. Look at this:

Many social media users responded to the news in Kevin Pereira's comments section. According to one commenter, “We are grateful to each of you for your prayers, love, support, n help towards Chrisann's release for justice.” We are really thrilled for you and your family, according to another remark. It's difficult to fathom what you were all going through. Your family showed grace and tenacity admirably. I hope you all have a relaxing holiday with your families.

Dear Chrisann, try to put everything behind you; what a lovely, joyful, happy conclusion. We all need it in order to live. All of us have been reminded and educated about how nasty some individuals can be by your awful experience. Your lovely family, friends, Bandra, and Bombay are all part of your inner world, which is why you are returning there. Another remark on the video said, “All our love.

For the uninitiated, Chrisann Pereira was detained by officials earlier this month in Sharjah. She has appeared in various Bollywood films, including Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor's Sadak 2. After narcotics were discovered within the actor's trophy, she was sentenced to prison. Two persons have been detained by the Mumbai Crime Branch on suspicion of framing the Bollywood star in the drug smuggling case. In an effort to get retribution, the pair allegedly put the narcotics on the actor.
