<p>2017 saw the surrogate birth of Karan Johar’s twins, Yash and Roohi Johar, who he co-parents with his mother, Hiroo Johar. The movie director threw his twins a lavish birthday celebration on Wednesday of this week, and celebrities from Bollywood showed up with their kids. Karan Johar has since uploaded a new batch of photos that are too good to ignore, even if he had already shared some beautiful images and videos from the celebration.</p>

<p>On Sunday, Karan Johar posted sweet photos of himself and his mother Hiroo Johar on Instagram, together with his children, Yash and Roohi. The whole family is shown in these photos standing for the photographers while surrounded by balloons in various tones of violet, pink, pastel, and purple. Furthermore, Karan Johar’s attire complemented his children’s, adding to the carousel’s overall wholesomeness.</p>
<p>“Going through a purple patch!!!!” he captioned. My surroundings…For me, balloons are more than just decorations. <p>On Wednesday, the twins’ birthday, Karan posted pictures from the celebration along with a touching message on Instagram. “Happiest birthday to the brightest sunshines (x2) of my life!” the writer stated. With your silly and sweet laughter, pure sarcasm towards ME, and of course, an abundance of love to share with the world, you two have permanently altered my life for the better! Never alter; mature but never alter! And special thanks to my mother, who has always been our family’s pillar of support and who also serves as Yash and Roohi’s mother! Mom, I will always love you. In the pictures, the children are seen posing with dad Karan and grandmother Hiroo. A necklace that says “cool,” similar to Rahul’s jewelry from Karan’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, is spotted on Yash.</p>
<p>Karan had published a heartfelt message on parenting the previous year. He said, “Being a parent is not an emotion,” with a handful of his child-posted photos. It’s an eruption of all the feelings you may have encountered. It’s difficult to put into words how it feels to be a parent. If only hugs could speak with each other.”</p>
<p>Regarding work, Karan just made a comeback with a new season of his talk program, Koffee With Karan. With Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani last year, he also made a return to directing. Yodha, an action thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani, is currently being directed by Karan.</p>
